Important: YouCORS delivers corrections from your base stations to your rovers, machinery, and applications. It does not sell access to a third-party RTK network or generate corrections without a source.

Frequently asked questions

Before launching private RTK infrastructure

Does YouCORS work with every agricultural autosteer system?

Not unconditionally. A terminal must support compatible NTRIP and RTCM versions. Validate the exact model, firmware, and connection method in a pilot before scaling.

Do we need our own base station?

You need a configured source of RTCM corrections—typically your own base or another compatible source you are authorized to use. YouCORS does not generate or sell corrections.

Can we use multiple bases?

Yes. Create separate mountpoints for bases and grant equipment access only to the required streams. Design the final architecture around territories and equipment characteristics.

How do we separate machinery by farm?

Issue separate clients to machines and organize access through users, groups, and mountpoints that match your farm structure.

Can a contractor receive temporary access?

Yes. Create separate contractor credentials and disable them when the work is complete without changing the permanent fleet.

What happens if mobile internet is lost?

NTRIP correction delivery is interrupted. Receiver or autosteer behavior depends on its configuration, so test backup connectivity and operator procedures in advance.

How much data does NTRIP use?

Usage depends on RTCM message content and rate, the number of clients, and operating time. Measure traffic in a pilot with the actual base and terminal before choosing a connectivity plan.
