Settings
The Settings section contains account-level preferences. At the moment, it includes the account name and the option to hide community casters.
Account name
The account name appears in the control panel and helps users tell accounts apart. Use a name the team will recognize, such as the company, project, or customer name.
After saving, the new name is applied in the interface.
Community casters
The Hide community casters option controls whether shared community casters are shown to account users. When it is enabled, users only see the private infrastructure available to the account.
This is useful when the team should work only with private casters and avoid accidentally selecting shared resources. The product is moving toward private casters, so community casters are being phased out.
When to change settings
Most teams do not need to change settings often. Common reasons include:
- setting the right account name after signup;
- moving from community casters to private infrastructure;
- simplifying the interface for users by hiding options they should not use.
If you are not sure whether community casters are still needed, check your active mount points and clients before hiding them.
